This Summer we decided to check out New York City for a few days. We discovered first hand that it is the city that never sleeps and it seems that little F also knew that it was the city that never naps. Since then, we work hard to set the stage for napping because she's afraid of missing something and she'll skip it if she can. So did F learn to not nap in NYC? Maybe, but if nothing else, we learned that days in NYC are easily filled with fun, good food, great sights, and lots of lights.
Both the girls loved Times Square, Central Park, FAO Schwarz, Museum of Natural History, and the view from our hotel room. We stayed a block away from the Broadway theatres and loved taking in the people lining up for tickets early in the morning and watching performers in a nearby diner studying their lines or waiting in line to order in their balletic poses.
P loved his trip to Strand Books.
I loved using my camera everywhere we went.
If was a fun trip. There was too much to do and too much to see.
